Inspired by the song You Are My Sunshine, The Rise was created as a symbol of love, hope, and the people who bring light into our lives.

During my brother Amir's battle with cancer, I spent as much time by his side as possible. Even while he slept, I wanted him to know he wasn't alone. I would lie beside him and softly sing You Are My Sunshine-the same words, over and over.

"You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..."

Years later, after launching Love Talla, a customer requested a custom version of The Rise for his wife. He shared the story of their 15-year journey through infertility and the joy of finally welcoming their son through surrogacy. Through years of darkness and uncertainty, they held onto hope until their own sunshine arrived.
